The fifth Relic slot comes before the final Charm slot
Current Season 10 player reports consistently separate the two unlocks. The fifth Relic slot is tied to The Fall of Darkness in Hell 5. The later Light of Dawn quest in Inferno is associated with the final Charm slot.
That distinction explains many contradictory guides: older videos may show a larger Relic collection, a different slot layout or a different season’s reward path. Use the current quest journal rather than a video date alone.
Hell 5: complete the Wanted chain
- 01Unlock Hell 5 and check the quest list in the town where the Wanted quests are offered.
- 02Complete Wanted: Sung Lee, Wanted: Shadow Reaper and Wanted: Uber Damien. Current player guidance says Chaos Tower is not required for this particular slot route, but follow your active journal if the game shows a different prerequisite.
- 03Speak to the Mayor or the NPC who advances the large Act quest after the Wanted steps are complete.
- 04Start The Fall of Darkness and confirm that the journal names Gabriel and Amun-Ra as the remaining objectives.
Finish The Fall of Darkness
- 01Defeat Gabriel in the Circle of Hatred on Hell 5.
- 02Defeat Amun-Ra in the Tomb of Amun-Ra on Hell 5.
- 03Return to the quest flow and confirm that the fifth Relic slot is actually granted before changing difficulty or deleting old gear.
- 04If the quest does not appear, re-check each Wanted completion, the difficulty and the host’s quest state in co-op.
The boss order and reward path are based on recent community reports. The live journal remains the final authority if a patch changes the wording.
Inferno: check the Light of Dawn Charm step
After the Relic quest, current Season 10 reports place the final Charm-slot progression in Inferno through Light of Dawn. Players describe an Act-boss sequence, but the exact journal wording and completion state should be checked in game before planning a run.
Do not farm the Hell 5 bosses again expecting a Charm slot. The reported unlocks are separate, and the difficulty is part of the route.
Questions players ask
How do I unlock the fifth Relic slot in Season 10?
The current community route is Hell 5: complete the relevant Wanted quests, then complete The Fall of Darkness by defeating Gabriel and Amun-Ra.
Is the Charm slot unlocked by the same quest?
No. Recent Season 10 reports separate the fifth Relic slot in Hell 5 from the later Light of Dawn Charm step in Inferno.
Why do older videos show more Relic slots?
Hero Siege has changed its Relic interface and slot rules between seasons. Check the video date and trust the current in-game journal.
